What is Morpheus8V?

Morpheus8V is a non-surgical solution, which improves vaginal health and control over the bladder. What are the differences between Morpheus8V and CO2 lasers in gynecology?

Morpheus8V delivers energy in up to 3mm of depth using a matrix of 24 microneedles with gold coating, while CO2 lasers only reach up to 0.5mm. This means that Morpheus8V has much higher potential for regenerating tissues in depth. Morpheus8V is preferred over CO2 lasers for stress incontinence and for treating changes after menopause – dryness, itching, genitourinary syndrome of menopause in clinical trials. Unlike CO2 lasers, Morpheus8V has no data for long-term complications. In conclusion, Morpheus8V reaches the connective tissues and achieves better results in treating vaginal laxity and urinary symptoms such as incontinence.

What should I expect during the procedure?

Your doctor will apply anesthetic cream, which makes the procedure comfortable. They will wait for it to act for about 15-20 minutes, after which they will treat the vagina and the external tissues. The procedure lasts for about 30 minutes, during which the treated tissues start synthesizing more collagen and elastin. Morpheus8V is bipolar radiofrequency, which means that radiofrequency energy is conducted between electrodes in the handpiece, allowing maximal heating of the vaginal tissues for optimal regeneration without any harm to surrounding tissues.

Recovery and results from Morpheus8V

After the procedure, you can immediately return to your daily routine, including work and sport, without any need of a recovery period.
