Although they sound similar, the two treatments use fractionated energy with a different source and focus. Unlike Morpheus8 which works in the deep layers of the skin, CO2 fractional peels damage the surface layer of the skin to remove hyperpigmentation, acne scars or stretch marks; plumping up its appearance and elasticity. Fractional peels are a seasonal procedure with a recovery period and carry risks of hyperpigmentation.
